How to Make a Pawgarita: Dog-Friendly Margarita

Here's the recipe to make your Doodle a refreshing summer drink! Made with fresh, healthy ingredients, this dog friendly mocktail is the perfect treat for your pup. Whether it's for yappy hour or a special occasion, here's how you can create a Pawgarita for your pup.

1. For the base:
   • 2 mini cucumbers
   • 2 tbsp of applesauce
   • Splash of water
2. For the rim:
   • 2 tbsp of unsweetened Greek yogurt (for the rim)
   • 2 tbsp of flax seeds (for the rim)
   • 2 tbsp of hemp seeds (for the rim)

1. Prepare the Pawgarita Base:
   • Wash and cut the mini cucumber.
   • Add the mini cucumber pieces to a blender.
   • Add unsweetened applesauce.
   • Add splash of water (ice optional).
   • Blend until you have a smooth and homogenous mixture.
2. Prepare the Rim:
   • Add Greek yogurt to a flat plate.
   • Dip the rim of the glass into the Greek yogurt.
   • Mix flax seeds and hemp seeds on a flat plate.
   • Garnish by dipping the rim of the glass into the flax seed and hemp seed mixture.
3. Serve the Pawgarita:
   • Pour the Pawgarita base into the rimmed glass.
   • Serve the Pawgarita to your dog and watch as they enjoy their new favorite drink.

Can I make these dog friendly mocktails in advance? Yes! You can prepare the base up to 24 hours in advance. Just keep it refrigerated and stir before serving. The rim should be prepared fresh as the yogurt can get messy.

How often can I give this to my dog? While this is a healthy mocktail and of course you want to spoil your, please feed in moderation. It's perfect for special occasions or as an occasional yappy hour on hot days.
